Who's Your Guru?
I just received this article from Jeff Mulligan, CBmall owner. I hope you'll find
it quite interesting:
"The other day I was talking to a guy at the health club I just joined. (Never had time when I was working for someone else.) We started talking about our personal trainers. If you aren't familiar with the term, these are fitness experts who are educated to design work-out routines based on an individuals strengths, needs and goals.
Anyway, Rick said something that struck me right between the eyes. "I got so confused reading all the books and fitness magazines. Everyone has a different opinion of what works the best. I finally figured if I was going to work out, I might as well pick one expert, listen to them and follow their program."
Later, as I was driving my sore body home, I thought about how appropriate Rick's comment was to Internet Marketing. Everyone's an expert. (Even people who have yet to sell their first eBook.) And there are a million programs, books, secrets, techniques and tactics that will work for you.
The problem is, you can easily fall into what my favorite business school professor called, "Analysis Paralysis". That's where a lot of people are stuck. They keep reading, and it gets in the way of actually doing something.

I was guilty of this, too. I must have bought several hundred dollars worth of books and courses before I found what worked for me.
Fortunately, the expert I decided to follow was, in hindsight, an excellent choice. And by following his advice and listening to his ideas, I have built up a couple of successful income streams.
My point isn't that my "guru" is the right one for everyone. The point is to pick one or maybe a couple of people you really respect, and model them. Of course, make sure they are actually successful in their own businesses first. But when you find someone you respect and whose style you like, listen to their advice and follow what they recommend in their writings.

Following this strategy can save lots of brain cells that you would spend switching strategies and tactics. It avoids confusion and gives you a good point of reference from which to work.
You don't have to keep reading and searching for the latest eBooks. Assume your guru knows the latest tactics and will advise you of how well they work.
I'm not saying you never look at another eBook or eZine again, it's just that you have one primary star you follow, it's that much easier to find your way."

webmasters are starting to become familiar with them. They can
help you to achieve up to date indexing in Google, and, in a
round about way, play a small roll in assisting with rankings.
Sitemaps are not needed by everyone, but can be of significant
use for many websites. This article will touch on the basics of
what they are, who can use them, and how to implement them.
What is a Google XML Sitemap?
In short a Google XML Sitemap allows webmasters to submit a
master list of all their site’s pages to Google for indexing.
This information is stored in an XML file along with other
relevant information where specified by the webmaster. It can be
as simple as a list of URL’s belonging to the site, or can
include, last modified date, update frequency, and priority. The
purpose of this Sitemap is to have the most recent version of
your URL’s indexed in Google at all times.
Who needs a Google XML Sitemap?
XML sitemaps can generally help any site needing to be indexed
by Google; however, small sites may not see the need for this.
For example, if you have a small 10 page website that seldom
sees any of its pages updated and your entire site is already in
Google’s index, the XML Sitemap is not necessarily going to help
much. It is best used when trying to keep the latest versions of
your pages current in Google. Large sites with an extensive list
of URL’s will also benefit, especially if 100% of their pages
are not appearing in the index. So a general rule of thumb, if
you have either a dynamic or large site, Google XML Sitemaps
just may benefit you.
Will using XML Sitemaps improve my Google Ranking?
In most cases this will not improve your rankings, however it
can help. By having the most current version of your site in
Google’s index, this can speed up your movement in the results
pages. This is because if you make an update to a page for
optimization purposes, Google’s index will have this page
updated more quickly than without the XML sitemap. What this
essentially means is that with more frequent spidering you can
help influence what version of your site is in the index, and
ultimately, help with rankings by decreasing response time.
How do you create the XML Sitemap?
If you have a very small site, or a lot of time on your hands
you can create your XML sitemap manually, but for the vast
majority of webmasters, automated tools are an absolute must.
There are a number of available solutions for this. One of the
simplest methods of creating XML sitemaps is through the use of
VIGOS GSitemap (http://www.vigos.com/products/gsitemap/). This
is a free, easy to use tool that will help you create your XML
sitemaps with ease. There are also number of downloadable and
online tools listed on Google’s site
(http://code.google.com/sm_thirdparty.html) which cater to both
beginners and seasoned professionals alike.
Submitting your XML Sitemap to Google is relatively
straightforward. After the file has been created the first thing
you want to do is upload the file to your server, preferably at
the root level. Log into the Sitemap console using your Google
account login. From here you can add a site to your account.
Simply enter your top level domain where it says "Add Site" (see
fig 1.0). This will add the domain to your account and allow you
to then submit the XML sitemap.

After this is done it will take you to a screen with the summary
for this site. You will see a text link that says "Submit a
Sitemap". Clicking here will take you to a screen to enter the
online location of the XML sitemap. (see fig 1.1 below). Click
"Add Web Sitemap" and you are on your way.

Once this is complete you have the option of verifying your
Sitemap. This can be done by placing a specific meta tag on your
home page, or by uploading a blank html file with a file name
provided by Google. Verification will allow you to access crawl
stats, and other valuable information regarding your Google
listing.

Implementing an XML Sitemap is generally straightforward and
worth the effort. Taking the time to implement them is well
worth it as there is no negative down side to this tool provided
by Google. Every little thing adds up in terms of obtaining site
rankings and frequent spidering by Google is certainly one of
them.

Submitting your XML Sitemap to Google is relatively
straightforward. After the file has been created the first thing
you want to do is upload the file to your server, preferably at
the root level. Log into the Sitemap console using your Google
account login. From here you can add a site to your account.
Simply enter your top level domain where it says "Add Site" (see
fig 1.0). This will add the domain to your account and allow you
to then submit the XML sitemap.

After this is done it will take you to a screen with the summary
for this site. You will see a text link that says "Submit a
Sitemap". Clicking here will take you to a screen to enter the
online location of the XML sitemap. (see fig 1.1 below). Click
"Add Web Sitemap" and you are on your way.

Once this is complete you have the option of verifying your
Sitemap. This can be done by placing a specific meta tag on your
home page, or by uploading a blank html file with a file name
provided by Google. Verification will allow you to access crawl
stats, and other valuable information regarding your Google
listing.

worth the effort. Taking the time to implement them is well
worth it as there is no negative down side to this tool provided

Adsense Publishers, beware! by Jesus Moreno
Friends of the internet. This goes to you all. I can say it because I had the problem; I lost my adsense account. I daily surf on the net and watch many sites. Most of the sites have adsense ads. And I see at least 2 failures: 1) adsense blocks and links appear on pages with no content but full advertising. 2) Too many pages showing up on traffic exchanges and autosurfs. Beware! Take a look at Google Adsense TOS and you'll see that both things are not permitted. They are cause of your account being disabled. I know it because that happened to me. They considered that I was getting invalid clicks. I came to join 2 or 3 adsense exchanges that supposedly were created for obtaining clicks on adsense ads without risk. No? Well, soon I went out of he program when I'd earned fabulous $22.00 bucks and cents. This situation is quite delicate. If you get to read this post, beware! if you are doing one or both the cases I mentioned above. I haven't worked on other programs like Bidvertiser, Clicksor, Yahoo, etc., but I suppose they have similar terms of service. So, friends, make a full review of your status with adsense and avoid to loose your account. It happened to me, unfortunately. You can see on this blog that now I have Affiliate Sensor Ads instead. I hope this will be helpful for you all.

To all people affected by StormPay actions: Of course, I'm one of them. You can't believe what's happening with this SP stuff. I understand they are just a payment processor. But, at the light of what's going on, you can see that they are behaving the bad way: DA, jury, judge and executioner, for the least. I recently received payouts from 2 auto surf programs that have been paying me (and to others, for sure) and for that I was glad. Well, this joy lasted a few hours. Why? Imagine? StormPay made charge backs to my account to another programs. They say that charge backs can be made when: because of fraudulent actions or because of solicitation of the merchants. Non of these apply. Still, they made those charge backs. What does this mean? Simple, just one word: robbery.
I am a mexican citizen. I don't know about U.S. laws. I can hardly write english. I just have common sense. Definitely I'm sure StormPay is behaving the worst manner. Even if we suppose (only suppose) that they are right about the "ponzi or pyramid" schemes, what they are doing is outrageous. Closing and frozing accounts, debiting and making charge backs, WOW, what do they thing they are?
I'm realy disappointed about the internet; well, to be fair, it's not the internet. It's human being that makes bad use of one of the most great inventions of mankind. Hackers, crackers, scammers, spammers, etc. These ones make use of this sublime invention to harm us all.
I personally am member to several autosurf programs like 12dailyPro, My Cash Trader, Safari Cash, AutoSurf.biz, Grand Hits, 911 Hitz, Dadndaves and 4daily. All of them always paid me. There are other like Estrix Surf, Daily Trust and 12Daily, to name a few, that came to be BIG SCAMMERS. They stealed the money and for sure they're having nice sun on a tropical island. And laughing at us, of course. As always, we fair people suffer because of the sinners. It's on these cases when authorities should really prosecute them.
Isn't there any group that can be able to beat these scoundrels of StormPay that are trying to steal great amounts of other people money? Are they going to succeed? I deeply hope someone comes up to save us all.

charge, making it super easy for even the most technically
challenged videographer.
They all allow visitors to search their sites using
keywords, so describing your video and choosing a good title
(with keywords people search for) will help increase your
exposure.
One of the most exciting features common to these sites is
that they allow you and others to get copy-and-paste code
that you can place on a blog or website (or anywhere else
you can paste html code) and display a video without hosting
it yourself.
This one feature can cause an explosive "viral" effect if
you create a video that appeals to a mass audience because
people can not only pass it along, but post it in additional
locations for everyone to see.

their growing catalog of homegrown video.

A disadvantage of the service is that, of the three, Google

Unlike Google Video, which requires a separate software
program to upload video, YouTube allows users to upload
